In the early years, the focus was on subcontracting, made possible by Peebu’s technical skills, extensive DIY and dedication. Paper bags were produced, stickers and posters were printed, and flag belts were sewn. Often the whole family and friends came to help. If necessary, the work was done at night, so that the finished goods could be shipped to central Finland in the morning.
1996. in continued to operate entirely in-house and invested steadily in the development of printing technology. This allowed for a diversification of the product range and an increase in quality.
2001. in acquired its own production building, which over the years has evolved into a state-of-the-art printing centre.
The introduction of international management systems was an important step in the company’s development. 2004. In 2007, Printcenter was awarded the ISO 9001 quality management certificate. and 2006. ISO 14001 environmental management certificate in 2007. These standards are the basis for our daily work and continuous improvement. The company operates systematically on the basis of both quality and environmental management principles.
Initially, we focused on the Scandinavian markets, with our main customers in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Over the years, the business has expanded to Denmark and other European countries. Today, exports to the EU and third countries account for more than 85% of total production.
From 2023, we will also be FSC® certified, which means that the wood, paper and board we use in our production comes from responsibly managed forests. This is part of our sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Printcenter Eesti AS is today a stable and growing company with over 30 years of experience in the printing industry. We belong to several professional associations and business organisations:
